Monthly Chat & Chew Program

The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

One way that YWCA of Northwest Louisiana dedicates themselves to this mission is through open dialogue with the community. Attending our monthly Chat & Chew sessions can open your eyes to other people's experience and struggles in a welcoming, educational environment. Each Chat & Chew session will take place on the fourth Friday of each month. Before attending there will be an article to read or video to watch so you come in with some basis of knowledge and we ask that each participant donate $5-$10 to help cover the cost of foods and so we can make sure we can continue these types of helpful programs in the future.
